Statement of Account

After a client matter has concluded and I have issued a final invoice, it sometimes takes a few months to be paid in full.  Where a client pays me in installments over a period of time, it would be helpful to send them a monthly statement – not an invoice – that reflects the beginning balance, payments received, and the resulting balance.  Is this something that Cosmolex is planning to make available in the future?

Please add my name to this request as well. A statement would ease some of the confusion that our clients have when they have multiple invoices and payments to sort out.

    Thank you.

Please add my name to this request as well. As a small two-person firm, we don’t need a couple dozen reports on timekeeper productivity–we need an account-to-date statement like this, and a fees and costs report for attorney fee hearings. Clio is dropping the ball on this as well. It’s mind-numbing!

Yes….a statement that also includes the ability to provide a link to the online payment screen that would allow the total amount due, for all unpaid invoices, to be prefilled, would be very helpful.   The system would have to then have to have the ability to apply this payment to all outstanding invoices, and paying the oldest first.

The lack of a statement format is a huge complaint from my clients.  It is also a hassle when I am presenting my attorneys fees as an exhibit during trial.

The Matter Transaction report works but it lacks details and therefore is not viewed as a formal statement of fees and expenses.

Please move this up the feature request list!
